Hi guys..recently joined this forum and i must admit its a mountain of information thanks to all of u..my question is can i buy genuine honda fluids like engine oil, engine coolant etc online? if yes please post me a link..thanks in advance

I've just done a quick Google and it's isn't instantly straight forward to find Honda branded fluids, you're right.

Now I don't know, so you definitely want to get another opinion, but I imagine Honda fluids are just other fluids which Honda have licensed to put their own name on it. I don't know, but when for example you buy Honda Engine Oil, you might just be buying Castrol or Mobil or something.

See what the more knowledgable guys suggest.

:)

Oil you just need a good quality fully synth of the right viscosity, not sure about coolant and others. It's things like the filters that are important to get Honda parts, especially for the diesel.
I'd quite like to find an easy place to get stuff from as well, I suppose Holdcroft Honda is the best place to start?

Honda engine oil is Castrol, but we get a great deal from Lubetech.

Always use Hondas transmission fluid, but any quality DOT 4 will do for clutch and brakes.

For Honda's own simply call Holdcroft and they will post it to you. Don't forgets to mention TA for a discount.

Thanks mate..will call them monday.

Personally, I stick to using honda fluids every time, apart from engine oil where I use the lubtech stuff for the diesel and mobil1 fully synth for the petrol. It is essential you use the correct coolant which is compatible with your system otherwise it could corrode the metals. By using Honda fluids, you know 100% it will be fine with the metals and that rubber seals etc should be fine.
