Hot gas valve?

Hi chaps,

Ok I got sick of trying to diagnose the fault with my aircon and took it to my local Honda dealer the other day (which I will not be doing again) they charged me for doing all the checks I have already done and told me the next part to replace woudl be the hot gas valve.

Does anyone know where this part is? and can anyone recommend any where that I can get one (either new or used / refurb) as I dont wish to give them £681 especially when they dont know for sure if that the problem

Have they given you a breakdown of the £681 by any chance?

It seems a little excessive to me. I would of estimated £350 tops for the part, labour and gas.

Part was about £150 plus VAT the rest was labour, managed to get a refund out of them though for wasting my time!
