On Saturday night I had a few problems hot starting, the car was getting a bit of round the doors hammer and after switching it off, putting fuel in, and driving off again, the car cut out at a roundabout and refused to start. When I did get it going, I got about 200 yards before it died again.

It did finally start again after a few minutes, and it hasn't done it since, but I would like to cure the problem.

Any suggestions? I did initially think it'd thrown a sensor, but it could be any amount of things including an immobiliser fault!

It's a 2000 Model 2.0 VTec with 126,000 miles, if that's any help.

Cheers

vapour lock? dodgy fuel?

No MIL indication?

If it's OK now, then it's going to be hard to find out what went wrong.

I think you should get the codes read off ASAP. Some/most 6th gens can have the codes read using the 'paper-clip' method, so might not even cost you anything!

it could be main relay problem... ???it needs to be changed or resoldered contacts inside of it.
It was common problem to 5gen accords, maybe the same is for your 6gen too
