Hello People

I noticed my power steering fluid is dark brown. So i thought i'd get it changed and i'm just wondering how many litres i'd need to flush and replace the fluid.

I checked with Honda they doing about £12-£13 a litre.

Thanks in advance

I changed mine a while ago as a preventative measure (link) a while ago. It didn't take especially long for the fluid to turn dark brown again. I'm glad I did it as now I can be certain the right stuff is in there, but I wouldn't advise changing it just on the basis of the colour.

Give HH a call and ask them for power steering fluid for a full flush and change.
Don't forget the discount code I will PM you it.

Thanks Brett for the code, Looking to do a full service too as it's that time will get my bits from HH. Left them a email today but will give them a call tomorrow.

Matt I just noticed it dark brown thought it might be burnt

Give them a call and as it's better to get things orderd I find

Cob you need Max 2 L of the power steering fluid.

+1 here. I've done a few and a full flush should take 1.0 litre with the capacity of the system being 1.1 litres. However, I always end up spilling/losing some, so get 2 litres to be safe.
