You can take of lights from both sides.If you do that,plastic cover not need bent,if not put something in the middle under trim and pull,don't force a lot.Four clips holding.
get a bladed screwdriver small one and use ut to push the light over to the right and it will move over and let you pop the whole unit down..thats how the 8th gen ones come out .
