Out of curiosity, how hard/easy is it to change the steering wheel for another OEM Honda wheel say from an EP3?

Has anyone done this and if so what will I lose? I don't use the cruise control and phone etc

Thanks

I've not done it but TBH, it looks pretty straightforward.

The airbag is a separate modules that's removed and after that it's the splines that matter. For the EP3 and Accord, they're the same. You will lose though the cruise and audio functions.

The PFL Type S that's for sale on here at the minute has a DC5 wheel, can't imagine using an EP3 wheel would be any different in terms of fitting

should be a simple case of unclipping any plastic trim around the wheel to reveal 2 bolts which hold the airbag in, once the airbag is out you will need to unclip it (i would recommend diconneting the battery for about half an hour before you unclip the airbag) and then the wheel will be held in with one 17cm or 19cm nut which you can undo with a ratchet. As we have seen EP3/DC5 wheels on the accord before, we know the splines line up and should be a straight swap. I use my cruise control but hate the large size of the oem wheel, if there was a way to re-route the cruise control somewhere else I would swap over (to the thicker DC5 momo wheel) in an instant!
