HI all I am after a bit of advice.

I have attempted to do the ignition timing on a friends Prelude which has a H22a7 flywheel. Could someone tell me what the timing is for the H22a7? I am ***uming it is 15 BTDC +/- 2 same as other H22's. Also what markers are on the H22a7 flywheel? Does the big + represent TDC? Are there other marks on it?

I do realise that since ignition timing isn't adjustable on the H22a7 there might not be many people who know the answers to my questions.

Yeah 15° (+/-2°) BTDC indicated in red, TDC marked in white. Not sure what the + sign is for, sorry.

Thanks for the reply.

All I can see on the ATR flywheel with the timing light is this big plus.

I take it this means I need to still advance it more to see the 15 BTDC mark? We advance the timing loads and the big plus came in to view. My mates timing must have been really out if we advanced it a load and only got to see TDC
