In Car SATNAV system

Hi people,

Does anyone know how to do this:

I have the incar satnav system in my 2.2 Sport, but once i have accepted the user agreement i can only turn off the maps by turning off the car (leave a black screen) , is there another way?

I'm not sure you can turn it off but you can turn the brightness all the way down leaving the screen virtually black. You could always switch to the audio or air con screens if it's only the map screen you don't want.

try pressing the brightness button three times.

or just don't press the ok button.

Am I missing the point ? Just press the radio button and the screen will go to sleep after a while

Just ignore it from engine start, do not press OK, it will then shut down. Other functions will still come up on command.
