Indicators Flash 3 Times mode

Discovered this by accident when my finger slipped off the indicator stalk.

Not sure if this is in the manual or not as my car did not have one when I bought it but...

You can set the indicators into flash 3 times mode by doing the following

use stalk to flash indicator once then let go (I only tried this on the right indicator)

quickly repeat the above once more in the same direction as above

you can now use the indicators in flash 3 times mode

The car seems to lose this setting once you stop the engine.

I think this is a fairly standard feature of most modern cars, my 2006 Mondeo ST had this also....

Yep it's a very good feature on the 8th gen but not new to lots of other cars.
