Hi all,

Am now officially part of the club.....as of this past Monday I am the very happy owner of a 2004 2.4 i-VTEC Executive - Cobalt Blue, beige leather, manual.

I have a few questions...

- Other than Xcarlink (or Audiovox) or Parrot MKi9100/9200 are there any other options to integrate an iPod + bluetooth phone to the stock stereo? Neither really appeal as with the former you cannot see what you're playing or search through your music library (unless via the actual device, ie. iPod) also you need to select callers through your phone, the latter is a great bluetooth solution however cannot control the music side through the car's stereo so no steering wheel control (no UNIKA option), fader, etc + uses the Parrot amp not the car's - only 2-channels (I think). I've kind of been spoilt up until now by having an aftermarket (Alpine) HU that allowed you to easily scroll through your iPod's library. I have no intention of going down the aftermarket route this time so wondered if anyone knew of any other options? I've searched but have not found!

- I'm ***uming the Premium Stereo does not include a subwoofer...it certainly sounds that way? I have an active sub that sits in the boot that sounds great but would obviously need wiring in. Does anyone know how tough job it is to route power from the battery to the boot? Also, and I think I know the answer already, but can anyone confirm whether or not the sat nav/stereo unit has any pre-outs, for a sub in particular. If not, I can take a feed from the rear speaker cables but I'm not sure whether this means losing the rears or sharing the signal and reducing the quality.

Any information anyone can impart will be very gratefully received.

Thanks!

Can't answer your questions, but here's a bump as i'm contemplating doing the same ie xcarlink + powered subwoofer install.

I'm pretty certain the saloons have 6x9's in the rear shelf but the tourer has a sub, not that you would really know its there though.

I've got a Parrot MK6000 which I have fitted to my last couple of cars and in all of them the music has sounded much better through that than through the standard head unit.
My only concern with the Accord is whether the Parrot adaptor powers all the speakers or just the 4 door ones.
