knocking noise

hello
i have 2007 executive 2.2 diesel!
when i accelerating can hear knocking noise from engine !dont know why!
but when car is stop and push de gas pedal i cant hear that noise !
car is working perfect no problem
what would be that knocking noise !abaut above 1000 !
any idea ??????

Nebitomi,

If you can get someone to make a video on a mobile of the noise whilst your driving it, then it maybe better to give some idea's.

I take it that the noise only happens when accelerating in gear and when you are not in gear it just revs and doesn't make the noise?

As Carl said a knocking noise could be anything we need a vid mate of the noise.

I thought replacing a couple of injector seals had fixed your problem... http://typeaccord.co.uk/forum/topic/13315-accord-diesel-knock/page__pid__148883#entry148883 ?

Did the noise come back?

In the other thread you said "recently its had new manifold and new timing chains and tensioners"... can't you take it back to whoever carried out this work and complain?
