Led rear lights

Hi guys, in the middle of ordering the full led kit for my car when it dawned on me about the rear lights.
My problem is i have ordered the 501 (4 led) wedge bulbs (white) for the tail lights and a 24 led (dual filament) in red for the stop/tail lights.
Now my thinking is when the lights are on the stop/tail lights are going to be uber bright compared to the 4 led wedge bulb hence making me look like a spanner when driving to work on nightshift
Your collective experiences' would be appreciated before i go any further with this upgrade.

Hi, how did u get on with the rear lights?? I fitted the normal red LED T20 bulbs to the stop lights, but will change them for the red SMD type as i felt that they were slightly less brighter than the original bulbs.

today I instaled brake/stop LED light and question is:
when you press brake pedal light are bright enough to see them in day time becouse I have suspision that they not bright.

I now have the T20 30 SMD's in red on my car (http://cgi.ebay.co.u...em=200534915528). To be honest they look less brighter day and night time than the T10 5 SMD's http://cgi.ebay.co.u...em=280579729069 on the parking lights, and I'm not convinced about safety. I have now ordered white 24 SMD's, hopefully they will be much brighter. If not, its back to the traditonal bulbs.

How did the rear LED tail light/brake lights turn out? I'm thinking of changing to LEDs myself and was thinking that tail lights might be ok but brake lights and indicators I'm a bit uncertain about... anyone done this? any feeback/pictures?
