Replacing the whole light ***embly is no more difficult than replacing a bulb, since the whole thing has to be removed from its resting place to change a bulb anyway. This product didn't come with instructions, but it's easy enough to figure out, or you can find tutorials on YouTube for bulb replacement and follow along. You do have to push in pretty hard while pulling on the back to get it to click into place, but once it's in, the difference is night and day. The lights are almost too bright, to the point where I had to clean my backup camera off since the dust on it was now illuminated clearly.
