they are the cheapest make sure you get the bosch filter though, the actual job is not too difficult, the sticky bit is the 10mm set screw at the back of the holder, I threw it away on the refit, that filter will be going nowhere when put back in the holder. just squeeze the bulb until it's hard and bobs your uncle.
Thanks for this link. I used your link (not sure if you will get a kickback as I checked out as a guest) but with other items I was 45p under the free delivery threshold.

To help others I wanted to mention that I found this item if anyone wanted something cheap to push over the threshold: https://www.mister-auto.co.uk/car-accessories/ice-scraper_bg900015_a999BOL-D081004.html

I should have done my research, it's cheaper here: https://www.eurocarparts.com/search/503600197 even cheaper with the current code!

New relief valve and still the same problem! :(

Going to have to give it to a diesel specialist to test the injectors and hopefully the pump!

Have you not done a simple leakback test mate?

So finally got the kit and did a leak down test. No3 is definitely worse than the others. 6 verses 4.5 which is a 33% difference but not sure what the units are!! This was 5 mins at idle.

Going to have to speak to a local diesel specialist about refurbishing all four injectors!

I personally wouldn’t touch a refurbished injector, better to get a used one.. sounds like you’ve found the problem though.

Yeah but there's the chance a used one is no better than the current. And would it not need coding?

I know a good diesel specialist who I'm sure can refurbish mine.

Are then Denso injectors?

Nope they’re Bosch. I thought yours had already been refurbished once already?

Just checking image sharing works!

Obviously an issue with injector 3 but I wouldn’t say it’s massively out looking at this.. or enough to cause the error code. Still worth changing to see if it cures it.

But it's a very expensive way of checking it !!! :(

Gotta do my fuel filter next week... Just want to double check as the car has been getting harder to start... I'll be doing the filter regardless as I've serviced everything else, flushed the brakes... Missed a gear change last week had in 5th when speed dropped down to 15-20mph and she spluttered and threw up a P1065 which once cleared hasn't come back. But starting when cold she'll turn over and fire up in a couple of seconds, but as soon as she starts to warm up it can take 8-10 seconds.

Anything else I should check?

If harder to start when warm then normally it’s a failing fuel pressure relief valve

I'll do the filter first and see if that helps... if not I'll see if I can check the pressure on the fuel rail. Do you have a part number for the FL CDTi one? Or are they a common part between the PFL/FL models... If the tourer doesn't sell she's gonna get broken and that's something I could swap over as the tourer starts first time every time.

They’re the same across the ictdi

Well I'm finally back on the road !!

Took the car to a diesel specialist who tested all four injectors and reported they were all low flow or excess return or both.

Therefore had all four overhauled, given new injector codes and uploaded to the ECU and the car is back to as good as new.

Very expensive repair but had no real choice as the car was worthless as it was !

Glad it’s finally solved
