Lost my TMC icons in the sat nav

At some point in the last couple of months, my sat nav stopped showing the TMC warning triangles on the map (traffic queues, vehicle recovery, road closed etc). The TMC icon is always green during my commute around the M25 and M40, and if I press INFO, the information is listed with no problems.

The only change has been an upgrade to a new 2012 disc back in late June this year, although I could swear I still had the icons after that!

Any help appreciated - wondered through the menus without finding a solution.

Doh! Found the problem. In map mode, if you press the lower left corner of the screen twice, you switch off the TMC layer on the map.

There's a button marked "icons" in the lower left, and this brings up the switchable POI icons on the map. The left-most one is the TMC layer. My wife confessed this evening that she was trying to set the sat nav a few weeks back and was repeatedly pressing the screen...

All the warning triangles restored!
