major oil leak.

Got a serious leak think its coming from the front of the sump area. Cdti 53 plate accord. Any ideas?

oil filter? As Cliff said clean it up and see.

As sal said it's possible it's the oil filter.
Clean and check the seal as the filter might not be sitting correctly

Haha. I will check this afternoon. It was serviced last year in the summer but no issues then. Ill check the filter though

Right i have found the culprit. Theres a sensor screwed in the top of the front of the sump right next to the dip stick tube. And Its ****ing out of that. Where the wire is connected to it. What is this and where do i get a new one and how much and is it easy to get off?

picture taken from underneath the car. and the cirlced part is the suspect. the tube on the right is the dipstick holder going into the sump. it leaks only when the car is running as well. pressure sensor??
