Manifold compatibility.

Hi all, could anyone clear this up for me. Am i right in thinking that the manifold and down pipe on a 6th gen 2.3 Sohc Accord (F23 ??) is exactly the same as the manifold and down pipe on a 1.8 F18b ??? There is a reason for my question but it is really perplexing me at the mo. :wacko:

Not sure about the F23 and the F18B2, but between the F18B2 and the 2.0, the exhaust manifold is different.

According to http://www.lingshondaparts.com/honda_car_parts_selection_pfk.php?block_01=17S1A11&block_02=E__0301&block_03=2337, the intake manifold are the same.

Ok cool, was just wondering as you can buy aftermarket stainless exhaust manifolds for the 2.3 at half the price they are for 1.8 but to my eyes look exactly the same.

They are similar, but are different... Don't know if one fits the other... but the exahust gastket is the same, so they might fit on the engine, but then the down pipe is also different, at least they have different part numbers...
