Manual dash clocks into auto --- Possible?

I have a 2,0 EX auto.

It is the first auto car I have had.

I don't like the fact there is no rev counter.

Is it possible to swap the clocks with those from a manual? Will the rev counter work after?

Well I've done auto-->manual a few times, as the extra lights for the gear-shift were not required.

Only was you'll know is to actually try the swap. Bear in mind, you'll probably need to get you mileage corrected afterwards.

Actually, I've half stupid this morning, what year is your Accord? Reason being, on the 7th gen Accords I've seen/used there was a rev counter?

Yes, this was a daft question.

I asked it after I had only been in the car once.

Was to busy looking at all the other gadgets.

After the second time I saw it staring me straight in the face.
