Manual vs Automatic - Transmission lifespan / reliability?

I was wondering, comparing manual and automatic versions of the Accord.
What mileage is your experience of clutch / transmission issues and what cost to repair?
So a manual probably 110000 and the clutch needed replacing. £600

With Automatics, what is the equivalent? clutch packs? What mileage on average would this be and how much to replace?

Ok guys with so much talk on clutches lately or shall i say the pressure plate self adjusting causing clutch slip. How long has your clutches lasted and what type of driving do you do. Brett- 37k a mix of town and motorway driving/ also toe a shed.

150k here, 2.4 6MT still on original clutch.

The only honda ive ever heard of have issues with gearboxes was the early to mid 2000's jazz cvt boxes, and that was later in their lifespan

My manual clutch is on its last legs (180k)

But today the Yaris auto (close to 100k) would not run until I warmed up the interior and played about with the gear selector twice. I drained/replaced the gearbox oil around six months back.

I would put it down to the negative celsius temperatures nearby but it is a first
