manually fold side view mirrors

Does anyone know if its possible to manually fold in & out the side view mirrors on the Accord 8th gen?

On most cars you can do this , but when I try it on the Honda it feels like they should brake...

Not sure if you're supposed to, but I do this quite a lot as I have a narrow driveway to get my refuse bin past. Just push them in - they are a bit stiff though!

In my case they had been folded in electrically and then the passenger’s side didn’t fold out, so I tried to do it by hand, but it seemed locked in the fold-in position.
As always it’s how hard you dare to pull without braking anything
