Mk7 facelift i-CDTI
Morning all, I'm considering buying a mk8 saloon (I had a mk7 saloon a few years back and loved it) but coming from an estate currently (Auris) I think I might miss the practicality of the boot, so I have some questions about the rear seats of the Accord:

- do they fold down?
- if so, do they fold flat?
- when folded, is there a divider between the boot and cabin? My old mk7 had a trapezium-shaped metal divider which couldn't be moved/removed even when the seats were folded, making it a lot harder to load anything long into the car because of that tight aperture I'd have to fit things through.

I have considered getting an Accord estate, but prefer the looks and refinement of saloons. I'm thinking that if the seats fold in a really practical way, the saloon could be the best of both worlds.

Cheers in advance for any info!

The back rests fold mostly flat, can be made completely flat if you remove the foam seats. Opening to the cabin is approx 80 by 50 rectangle so not very practical unless you want to transport long and thin objects.

I have an estate and as well as having more space it comes with a rear wiper which is really handy especially in wet weather.
