MOT next month..

Hi guys - so my MOT is due end of June and I've got a few issues I need to get done before it goes in.

1) the old unfaithful cracked manifold, was going to try welding this myself but I'm not gonna have the time with work in the next month. Honda (avonvale in Coventry) quoted over £700 to replace, anywhere in the midlands that will do it for less? If not I don't mind travelling if it'll save money!

2) there is an advisory on the last mot of slight play in rear anti roll bar ball joint. ***uming this is easy to replace DIY?

3) the car is lacking power, especially pulling away from stationary - ***uming this is fuel filter related. I'm gonna replace it anyway as I've had the car 9 months, not sure when it was last done or of it's even OEM, so I'll change it regardless and hope that clears up the power issues.

I had mine rewelded in a place in bradford. It was at a fraction of £700. If you speak with Fahad (F6HAD) he can pass on the details. Since doing mine I have not had a single problem.

Antiroll bar are easy fixes in principle. The only issue you have is rusted bolts really. Ensure you tighten them up on load.

Powerloss could be several things, does the turbo kick in?

just a quick update. manifold welded, curtousy of Fahad/Waqqy - excellent job, could not reccomend enough! The job completed for £200, an absolute steal compared to honda quotes.. Understand its a lot of work and can be a **** of a job, luckily in my case Waqqy said it all came apart fairly easily - still, very greatful for the service!
