MTEC H1's

Since its been darker Ive been bemoaning my poxy headlamps on my lovely Sport Tourer cdti. Its fitted with Osram night breakers, properly fitted and aligned but pants. Main beam is adequate tho.

I toyed with HIDS but decided to try MTEC's super white H1's with matching 501 sidelights. My local garage fitted them for me for a tenner (40 mins!) and I can say I'm very pleased with them so far in terms of colour (clean white slight yellow tinge, almost OEM), intensity and projection.

The bulbs cost about £28 all in which was worth the risk and so far theyre a decent improvement over the Osrams.

I may try HIDS eventually but happy at the moment.

I will - I think they're really good so far......differing geometry and lenses etc must make a difference for the same bulb?
