Hi,

I just bought a Honda Pre-Owned 2004 EX-Auto 2.0Litre.

Issue is I am about to install the XCarlink for the IPhone4 but the DIY for XCarlink section shows one big sliding hold above the ash tray whereas I have two smaller enclosures. One is open and the other one has a sliding shutter.

Can anyone advise on how to open these two enclsoures up? My car is open right now till the ashtray and I dont have any clue on how to remove the final bit. Thanks!

Hi
We normally ask members to introduce themselves, this way there is more of a chance of them returning once they get there answer.

Can you confirm that you have the sat nav version accord?

Welcome to TA Khnkilla :D

I dont think the guys want to know ur bank details or how u like your tea - just a welcome introducing yourself. You wouldnt ask to borrow your neighbors tools without introducing yourself now would you.

All the same welcome to the forum mate, these guys know what they are talking about so ur in good hands!

No need bud... someone will be along soon enough to help... I have sat nav so not sure how your cubby holes go...

It is a fairly common subject though so have a search in the mods section.

You don't need to remove the open cubby. Just follow the guide here.

I velcroed my xcarlink to the top of the open cubby. The piece I found hardest to remove was the fascia surrounding the stereo. But it will come off, just needs a bit of persuasion.
