new exhaust time, Gen. or Pattern?

wifes accord is needing a new exhaust (middle & rear), according to Lings both parts are £360,i reckon could get pattern for around £150, i like the idea of buying Gen. but at 3 times the cost? she has also started muttering about a new car so im even less convinced about spending the extra

what to do?

PS she dont want no big bore jobbie!

I got quoted less than that for a full stainless system!! If you're thinking of selling, go pattern, then at least it's sorted for the new buyer and not hurt your wallet too much.

To be honest there really isn't much difference between the pattern part and a standard one from Honda.

Might be worth your time going to somewhere like powerflow and asking how much they'd charge. You can even specify the sound at places like that.
