Hi,
I love my Mk8 09 Accord Tourer i-DTEC EX.
No spare wheel.
I like the Premium Audio but could be a tad louder for me.
Just hit 150,000 miles.
The plastic front and rear bumpers start to spot delaminate after this amount of time, looks like peeling skin. Only cosmetic and certainly not the only Honda affected.
My tips on buying are make sure the AC compressor works. Others might suggest something more comprehensive but run engine with bonnet up and then have someone engage AC (button) while you check one of the radiator fans kicks in (left AC dedicated I think as you stand looking down) and easier still that cold air comes out the vents!
If in doubt look down past belts with torch and you might be able to see that AC compressor clutch pops out/engages. Then just ensure AC refrigerant level topped up every two years and use as a minimum fortnightly so that everything remains lubed and the seals plumped up (same advice for all car AC systems).
If over 135,000 get the rear calipers checked and if they start to stick change both of them at the same time is my advice, saves another pair of rear discs and pads when the second one goes!
I look forward to reading others' replies.
Good luck,
Giles
