no headlights

Hi, passenger side dip beam stopped working last night. Drivers side packed up tonight. Can anyone give me a hint on what to check first?

Hi mate, get 2x new bulbs.
then disconnect the battery.
check the earthing cables, if u have a 6th gen the earthing cables will be on the drivers side wing next to the airbox.
Make sure the cables are clean and rust free.
Then check the fuses and relays in the fuse box under the bonnet.
take them out and give them a little clean then replace. (cleaning the contacts on the fuses make a hell of a difference mate)
once you have done all the checks and fitted both bulbs. (Remember not to touch ya bulbs)
reconnect the battery then all should be good buddy
