No reverse

I'm thinking of taking the gearbox off and stripping it my self as reverse won't engage into gear withe the gear stick. Just wondering if anyone had any diagrams or a simple guide to get me sorted.
Also if it's synchro wouldn't 5th this ,

Wouldn't this damage 5th gear as well?

Anyone had the same problem if so what cured the problem?

I have no idea of what it could be, but after googling a bit about it, found the following topic on honda-tehc.com. It's not an Accord, but it shouldn't be too different....
