Number plate LEDs blowing

I've never known LEDs to blow before, but I've now tried 2 different types in my number plate lights, and the offside one has blown twice within a day or two of putting them in.

Anyone know why this happens?

I had this with my side lights. I really don't rate LED's to be honest.

If you want white light that is reliable get Mtec 501's

The light disperses better than LED light as well.

Are they really as bright as the LEDs? About to order numberplates light.
