Hi everyone, bit of help needed...... borrowed a mates OBD scanner to check why warning light was on and it came up with two codes P1166 and P1167.I turned warning light off but it came back on again when I started the engine.Car is a 2.0 se exec auto 2001.Any help with the best way to proceed, parts needed, where to get them, cost etc. Thanks.

41.............P0135,P1166,P1167.................. ....Primary heated O2 sensor

Looks like new lambda sensor needed. Should be a straight-forward fix.

i had the same P1166/1167 error (checked with obd scanner)

i replaced the primary lambda sensor with denso part 234-9025
and reset the ecu, and now the car is running well.

i also checked the lambdas voltage with the obd scanner and now they react to engine load changes

Update on this, finally found the correct Lambda sensor[Denso 234-9025] in a breakers in Leeds,Pick-a Part UK. Honda wanted £208 but I paid £35 inc P&P.
Very happy now,no warning light on and car running great.

Result. Great price aswell, especially including p+p

sorry I forget to say that Denso 234-9025 is for F20B6 engine only.

F18 has different lambda sensor
