OBD Diagnostic port - its playing hide and seek!

Hi all

EML came on the other day after idling in traffic fro ages (suspect its the solenoid valve I still haven't changed!)- found my OBD port, just about to connect up and basically the port on the car popped inside !

anyone had this issue and if so, whats the easiest way to get to it and can it be clipped in again?

If its fallen in, you will need to remove the surrounding trim to find it. Happened to me a while ago. You might get away with just removing the flip down coin try/holder/thing.

Mine did that - the plastic clip on one side has snapped off so when pushed it just pops straight out again. Grrr....

Couldn't see an obvious way to fix it, so I found it easier to buy a short extension flylead OBD cable and leave it plugged in.
