Good Evening!

I have a pair of OBD2 cables that both refuse to talk to my accord via the diagnostic port in the footwell - 1 is a KKL ***-Com cable which I didn't expect to work, the other is an ELM327 which I really did expect to work...

They get power from the port, but that's all I get from it, I can't talk to it at all. So I've drawn the logical conclusion that it must be the port at fault, possibly the wiring (the socket isn't actually even secure in its bracket...)

With that in mind, does anybody have a pinout for the diagnostic port so I can make sure all the cables go where they're supposed to go?

Cheers!

Hey again guys,

It was actually me that was the issue and not the port - the software defaulted to a Baud Rate of 9600, and the adapter wants 38400.

If anybody else ever buys a cheap OBD2 adapter from Ebay and has issues getting it to talk to the car - this site is useful:

More than that, follow the link they post to EasyOBD which connects completely automatically, then there is a button that says "Show Com Settings" - these are what you need to plug into whatever diag software you are using.
