Oil filter torque plus best place for oil and coolant

Hi a,
Honda reckons the car just needs an oil change and coolant change as it had its major last year. Firstly what tool or specifically torque wrench to oil filter adapter do you use to tighten the oil filter to the specified torque and secondly can anyone give me a link to the best place to get fluids from for an 08 ctdi.

my bad. when you reach 10 posts you will be able to see it.
there are hidden sections that only become available when you reach a certain post count.
 
No problem strangely enough it just appeared, just had a good read over the lubetech stuff looks like what I need plus found the laser oil filter wrench tool I was after

Daniel the torque setting for the oil filter should be on the black filter body.

Cheers I was after the type of adapter to use, as I saw the 52 nm reading on it when I had a look under the bonnet to see what I was letting myself in for. All the bits bar coolant are on there way now thanks to you guys.
Is it an absolute requirement to raise the front end to drop the oil I'm thinking of using some drive on ramps and then chocking the back.

This one is an excellent DIY of the oil change procedure, you may know what your doing, but it is a handy reference anyhow.

As for driving up on ramps and chocking the back, the only issue is can you actually drive it up on the ramps, the front end tends to be to low for the angle of many DIY ramps.

Thanks again I will have a good look through the threads just acquired the wrench adapter and oil filter, so just waiting for my 25 litre oil drum to arrive and its on........
You may have a point about the front an ramps though will probably use my trolley jack and some axle stands.

You'll probably find that it takes less time to get it up on stands than ramps !

Glad to see your all sorted now
