oil level and change

Have read through the oil threads, car was serviced around April this year (cant remember exactly) but Im wondering now if she needs topped up. So was reading threads on type and halfords reccommends 5w/30 but some threads on here recommends 0w/30. My question is what would happen if the mechanic used 0w/30 and then I topped up with 5w or vice versa?

Also not completely sure if she does even need topped up. when cold the level reads exactly 3/4 between min and max

Have had a new clutch put in recently (didn't change the flywheel but mechanic did say after installation that there was quite a lot of movement so freaking out about that going soon) and not sure if this would even have any impact on oil

Just looking to keep her looked after

If the oil level is between the min and max line then its fine. If its outside of these marks you need to do something about it. Over filling can be as bad as under filling!

ok thats seems dead on then. Ill leave it till it needs a change again. Should be ok to Jan or better (12000mls)

If the car was serviced earlier in the year you need to check what the garage used, especially what oil filter they used.

Yeah, guess so. No worries about the oil filter etc as I bought a genuine service kit from Honda but if the levels are ok Ill hang on till the next oil change due. Gonna do next oil change myself

So is it 0w or 5w? semi or fully synthetic

Should be 0w30 fully synthetic.
