I've been having some headlight issues on my gen7 tourer, for a while now the passenger dipped beam bulb would blow and I'd need to replace it. However this time, even the new bulb (checked it with a multimeter and it's ok) doesn't work.

Strange thing is on the driver's side the red wire clips to the bulb, guessing the outer bulb grounds itself, there is a black wire but it terminated just with a rubber sleeve, on the passenger side though (see the pic) the black wire has a terminal too, I just don't know of that needs to plug in somewhere? Pretty sure I never plugged it in before but maybe it's come off?

Any help appreciated, cheers... James.

can't see any attached pictures in your post
did not know you could get executive spec accords with h1 bulbs, learn something new every day :p
the black wire attaches to a male spade connector nubbin cast into the projector housing to provide a ground for the bulb
circled in embedded picture
they can break, ask me how I know.....
