no problems with the fitting as the instructions i found on the forum are brilliant! :)

Have you cleaned the AC ducts with some AC specific cleaning product?

I am considering give it a clean with Einszett Klima-Cleaner to get rid of some nasty smells that occasionally came from the AC system: http://www.1z-usa.com/einszett_klima_cleaner.html

to be honest it didn't cross my mind, and i didn't know that sort of product was around, if i do get some funky smells i'll be getting some

are these cleaners effective? I have heard that only possible way to clean AC system from smells is steam....(steam cleaner for example)

I have never tried them before, but for what I have been reading, this Einszett stuff is really good and it really kill all the molds and bacteria in the AC vents, which is what causes the bad smells.

can you put a diy or explain how did you change the pollen air filter from inside the car? i really do know how.
thanks and i wait your reply.
cheers

I'll try and find the name, but I've been using a smoke bomb sort of product for years. I recently tried the products that you spray down the vents, but all this seems to do is create a god awful mess!

Anyway, the smoke bomb type products are awesome! You start the engine and turn on the A/C to max and turn the re-circulation on. You then place the bomb in the passenger footwell and close all the doors. It fills up the interior with smoke, which keeps on circulating the smoke through the entire system until it evaporates - Takes about 30 minutes, and lasted 2 years before I recently done it again.

Edit. It was from Valeo.
