Power Steering Fluid

Noticed that we should only use Hondas own (V, II or S) - I have 2.2. diesel.

Is this correct, if not what would you recommend as alternatives?

Also - would you recommend a full drain and is this easy enough to do? Or should I just top up?

I lost a bit of fluid when diagnosing my alternator issues so I'm just above min level - but would rather top up/replace as Im unsure when it was last done.

General rule is always to use Honda's own fluids; as for top up/replace issue - not sure; probably just a top up at this stage. At least until you have the other issue dealt with.

Carl iv nether changed it myself so cant help you there.
But what i will say is use Genuine Honda fluid.

Honda fluid only and really unless you have a leak, it should never need topping up.
