Hi folks

Anyone has experience or advice in carrying out the above replacements? Are they relatively easy jobs?
I'm no mechanic but I've done some maintenance and repairs, so would like to give it a try.

Honda Shrewsbury just told me I got injectors 2 + 4 gone, plus an internaul fault wiht the ECU, which means a total amount of twice the value of the car if using new parts.

One can get second hand injectors for around £50 each (recommend replace all 4) and an ECU for less than £100, so looks like a ono brainer.

Thanks
Estevao

Book it in with me first for a second opinion. I've seen a clogged egr cause injector issues as it alters the air to fuel ratio and over fuels.

Thanks Fahad - hope you are doing well and I don't forget your help a couple if years ago

Honda were the 2nd opinion this time  my mechanic had a look at the EGR first (was coming as a code) and it's definitely not clogged... EGR was one of the codes (5002) they found, but there were loads of them, and they could not interpret all.

Before taking it to Honda, I realised that the garage had put a non OEM fuel filter so I replaced it and flashed the ECU to reset and see if the filter made any difference - which it didn't....

The problem for me is that the car is barely driveable - rough/faint idle and acceleration almost zero at low revs. I'm test driving new cars this weekend...
Still, even if I do buy a new car, I'm being offered peanuts for my old beloved and I'd rather try to fix it, as a project, as a convenience of a second car or just to sell it myself at a fair price.

Hello Guys,
I need your help. My honda accord 2007 have fault code: P1032. Grow plug flashing with engine management light on. I used injector cleaner/ replacing fuel heater relay. Drive the car more than 300miles. Yet the light stays on.

Please i need idea on what to do next?

Estevao - yes I do remember you. Hope you are well too

We've recently introduced a manual EGR blanking option, which I'm pretty sure will solve the issue you're having - especially if you've seen a diagnostic error for the EGR in the DTC memory. The symptoms you describe are almost certainly EGR related. I wouldn't be replacing injectors on this just yet.

Azeez - if that's the only error you have then you have a cracked glow plug. I would replace all four, and you must only use genuine Honda glow plugs in this car.

Fahad, the EGR is not clogged up according to my mechanic. I specifically told them about it, with my previous history of an EGR being diagnosed and not being the problem.

I cleared the codes before taking it to Honda and then they did not see any EGR code.

Just to add Honda's report:

"Confirmed DTCs (permanent):

P1044- Nr 4 injector circuit shorted

P1042- Nr 2 injector circuit shorted

P16A4- Engine Control Module (ECM) internal circuit malfunction"

No Temporary DTCs

Injector circuit shorted normally relates to an electrical issue..
