Quick Question

I have searched and couldn't find a definitive answer. Can someone tell me if the Accord with the non premium sound system has tweeters in the dash?

I need to know if i should order components or just coaxials.

I have the premium, so don't know what the standard system is like. Can you see grills up on the dash, as if there are tweeters there? That's what mine has. Park up, put some music on and get up close to them. If you can hear the high frequencies louder, then you know. If not, or if you're unsure, get as close as you can then cover the grill with your hand. If there's a change in tone, then you there are tweeters under there.

I have facelift 7th gen 2.0L Type S model non premium sound and I have tweeters in the dash.

So I just popped the covers off and I do have tweeters, so I will need components. It looks like fitting new tweeters might be a bit tough due to the space. Any suggestions? Can you get little wiring adapters to plug in the the existing Honda plug like you can for the speakers?

Any suggestions on components around £100 mark?

Might be a full dashboard out job given how close they are to the front end...

Yer there is no way im taking out the dash. It will be far easier i think to run new wires. I will have to have a think about how this is going to work.
