I have this rattle that occurs only when you go over 65 / 70 mph. It sounds like its coming up from the passenger footwell.

I have checked all around the bay for anything loose but it is really really starting to irritate me.

can anyone give me a clue?

Could be anything! Remove the glovebox completely and start tapping around the place with your hand.

yes I know it could be anywhere, I have had a friend inside the passenger seat. he said that its defo not something inside.

I have the exact same thing on my CL7, especially in vtec. I'll keep an eye on this.

So it's something on the outside of the car? Does it rattle worse at a particular time (i.e. over rough surface, etc?)

I put some flat wiper blades on my Accord once. Had to go back to original ones as they would rattle at higher speed.
The only other anoying rattle that took me a while to find was the one on the rear view mirror, which just needed tightening.
Hope you find yours.

I think I have found it. I took all my wheels off as they are going to the powder coaters.

I noticed that there was a little black box just swinging about above the gearbox. I gave it a nudge and as I suspected made a similar noise to the one I hear at higher speeds. My guess is that until your going fast air is rushing through which makes it swing about enough to hit stuff in the vicinity. It appears to originally have been attached to the side of the main fuse box.

What I think has happed is that the LPG fitter knocked it, or detached it in order to fit the evaporator thing in the back of the engine bay and not put it back.

Obviously as my car has no wheels at the minute cant really test the theory but its very likely this was my problem.
