Hi,

My rear driver side brake caliper has seized on my 2005 cdti saloon. I am looking to buy a second hand one. There is I have found from a 2.4 accord. Will this be compatible with my car?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Refurbished calipers aren't expensive, try brakes international, its who I use when I need to replace calipers.

Have you checked it's not the slider pins that are seized?

Strip it down, clean and put grease Up, should be free up the actual caliper

I've had my calipers seize......if you have the AA's breakdown insurance, the calipers are a covered item (discs and pads are not). Helps with the bills and you can even have the work done at the garage of your choice :) Might be work replacing the pair (speaking from experience)
