So I've attempted to search the forum for a how to, and I've ended up thinking that I need to buy a rewind tool

This one :

Apart from that anyone got any tips ?

Front looks to be a piece of cake.

Rear are as easy as the front.. only difference is the need to wind the calipers back in :).

Get an impact driver. The discs are held on with two little retaining screws. They're a nightmare to get off without the driver. I got one from machine mart for about a tenner. Have you found the guide in the diy section? It tells you all you need to know.

Impact driver a must as the screws get jammed on. The rewind tool is a must too as there is no other easier way to retract the caliper.

Other then that some brute force to removed the caliper carrier bolts. A little penetrating fluid helps.

Just remembered, when you wind the piston back in make sure you line the notches up correctly. If not, the pads won't be seated properly. They'll end up being in constant contact with the disc and at best wear out real quick. At worst the heat build up could warp your new discs.

I don't know if you've done brake work before. If not, my absolute top tip is to make sure you pump the brake pedal till it firms up BEFORE you set off on your test drive to check your work. If you don't YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO STOP!
