Rear Brake Pads

Heard a rubbing noise coming from the passenger rear wheel. I know this wheel has been binding a bit, not too bad but the wheel was getting a bit warm. Anyway, thought the brakes were sticking so jacked the car up and seen what I thought was a stone stuck between the disc and stone guard. Tried to hoke it out but it wasn't a stone, the inside pad fell out! I think it is just the pad, not the backing plate.

Blimmy was this after market pads or oem

Wow them pads seem very bad in quality. I would be very suprised if that was oem pad?

The pads were changed before I got the car at an independant so I guess they aren't OEM.

One thing ive learnt about second hand cars and independent dealers, never ***ume or guess about things. Always physically check.
I think you were lucky to catch these when you did.
