rear caliper replacement

Hi, is there a thread out there on how to replace the rear calliper on a 54 2.4 tourer. Found one on rebuilding the caliper but not for fitting a new one. As they are only £60 for a recon one. Many thanks.

Don't think there is an official thread, maybe you could do the DUY for us?

Are you first sure the caliper is at fault as sometimes it can be the hose itself which has gone weak causing it to collapse on itself. However that has been reported more on the Tourer model.

Yes it is mate as have looked at it and the piston is rusty. I will be replacing the hose also.

Just substitute "dismantle old calliper and fit new piston & seals" for "open box containing recon calliper"
