Hi
2005, 2.0 L, Accord, Executive, Manual, CL7.
Changing the rear pads and discs. The tin inserts that clip into the calipers are missing. The ears of the pads then sit on those tins and the smoother thing allows them to slide back and forth as the piston contracts and releases.
Anybody know where I can buy them from? Or whether they're typically left out?
Thanks

Do you mean the shims?

Yes, but for the rear. I just spoke to a Honda parts dealer and they said that there are no shims for the rear, only the front.

That answers this question then! :)

Don’t think that’s correct, I did my mk8 Accord rear pads a few weeks back and I’m sure they have shims.

Could it be a different parts list between the saloon and tourer, seeing the rear calipers on the tourer do not wind in/out ?

Yeah, the mk 8 has retainers, as indicated in the parts diagram (Part #12 and #13). The mk 7 doesn't.
