Hi went to put rear seats down today to go to tip, to fond it wouldnt open and seems it is broken is there a way to get it to open as I have had alook at the other side ( n/s) and it looks ****** like a misson to get into without breaking the plastic casing it wouldnt bother me as much if it was pass side that had broke but nooooooo it had to be the main biggest part who has a idea on this

So one of the catches still works? If so and it's only one side you're not gonna like the fix :lol:
Will the button depress fully? If so, and the seat still won't go down, it sounds like the mechanism is goosed mate. Unfortunatly i don't know of a way to get them down that doesn't involve breaking something.
Try maybe pushing the seat back really hard as you press the button then try pulling it down
