remove rear headrests (help needed)

Hi, Just wondering if anyone can tell me how to remove the 2 rear outer head rests on my 05 tourer exec. Looked at the handbook and followed the instructions but they will no come out. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I would really like to know that too...Almost removed them the other day...with seats My child seat extends and these head rests are in the way. Dan

They must be different from the saloon because that's dead easy. Who'd have thought the saloon was more practical eh?

Having read this request twice this week (I think?) I've just had a look at mine:

Worked like the book said for me. Pull the 'fold seat forward lever' and when the head rest flops forward just get hold of it and pull (straight up -the fixing pins bend at 90 degrees) and out it comes. To refit, locate the white plastic locating holes and push until it clicks into position.
