Removing Gear Knob

Hi all,

How is the gear knob removed? I've tried both twisting and pulling with no success.

There should be a nut underneath the knob, loosen that then the knob should just twist off.

Pull the gaiter down and twist the gear knob, it may take a little while

The gear knob is on a 10mm thread kept on with thread lock on some models an a nut with others. Either way twist it anticlockwise as u look at it from on top and it will eventually come off. Don't forget to pull the gearstick gator down to disconnect it from the knob as u won't spin it much.
