Removing tow bar!

If I wanted to take off my tow bar how would I go about disconnecting the wiring? Is it just a plug or will it be wired in to the main car loom?

On my last car it was a double adapter plugged into the rear light cluster with the reversing bulb, so a simple 'remove panel, pull out the joiner, reconnect to the main loom and then replace panel'.
