Replacing central storage with armrest/cupholders...

Can it be done like a straight swap?

I have a 1.8 S (51) with the storage bins in the centre around the handbrake - I'd prefer the one with the arm rest and the proper cup holders. Although, can you just do a swap with them with no trouble or are they different fittings?

I'm no stranger to changing interior bits but don't wanna start ripping up bits of my car before finding out!

Also are there any breakers with them handy on here? I don't know which models came with them standard.

Type-v has them, chances are only in black or cream leather though, I don't know if the Type-v was available in anything else.

There's a black one with black leather on eBay, but it's £100 with £15 postage...is that a bit overpriced?

If you can find a centre console for the 6th gen then you're a lucky man! The last one that came up for sale, out of an ATR, went for £170 on ebay. They're as rare as hens teeth!
